­­­­­­­­­The Student Council is having a toy drive for the kids at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center from now until the end of October.  We will be collecting toys in the library.  In addition, please make sure that the toys are appropriate for the kids.

Student Council proudly presents:  Homecoming 2018! This year’s Homecoming Dance will be Saturday November 17th, THAT’S RIGHT….THE NIGHT OF THE CONARD/HALL GAME! Homecoming will be at Town Hall from 7-10pm, doors close at 7:45 with no re-entry allowed.  TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE! You can purchase tickets during lunch or from Ms. Casey in the library.  Tickets are $25 each, non-refundable and for Conard students only. We have a limited number of tickets, so don’t wait!

The Rhode Island School of Design is coming next Friday October 19th 3rd period in room 169 for art students.

Don’t miss the Drama production of The Crucible opening this week in the Black Box Theatre.  There’s a free show this afternoon for students starting at 2pm, and then more shows Tonight, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:00.  Tickets are just $5 for students and $10 for adults.  Don’t miss your chance to catch this modern twist of timely story.  Get your tickets at the door or stop by the black box to make a reservation.

Calling all Madden Players. There is still spots available for the first ever Madden Tournament sponsored by Microsoft Store of Westfarms tomorrow at 2:25pm in the cafeteria.  If interested in playing, please check your email for further details and fill out the Pre-Registration Form.  You may also access the form QR code posted around the school.  By filling this form out, you will reserve a spot in the tournament.  Walk ins welcome if extra spots are available but not guaranteed.  Any questions? Attention All Conard Students! The Jewish Student Union has its first meeting of the year next week, Thursday, October 25th in room 160! The mission of the Jewish Student Union is to help teens explore and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Jewish people, as well as getting Jewish public school kids to do something Jewish! REMEMBER YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE JEWISH TO COME! See you there!

OUTDOOR CLUB- There is a mandatory meeting for the Outdoor Club on Thursday October 18th at 2:30pm in room 124.  If you are participating in the fishing trip you must attend!
