If you are interested in running for Student Council Executive Board for the 2018-2019 school year, see Ms. Casey in the library for an application. The deadline to submit an application and declare running for a position is tomorrow. There will be a short meeting in the library for all candidates tomorrow immediately after school.
Junior Prom tickets are now on sale before and after school in room 201 – we accept cash or checks made out to Conard High School. Tables are for 10 people – please get these set BEFORE you purchase tickets.
Would you like to see your design on the front cover of the Student Handbook next year? The measurement details are available on the front counter in the Main Office and all entries must be submitted by Friday, May 4th. Use your creativity and perhaps you’ll see your work on next year’s cover! Any questions please see Mrs. Hickey in the Main Office.
National Honor Society is sponsoring a food drive for the West Hartford Food Bank. The Food Bank is low on rice, baked beans, canned spaghetti and canned fruit but any donation would be welcome. Donations can be dropped off at any lunch wave this week through April 27th. The class who donates the most food will receive a donation to their class board. Thank you for helping!
Tickets for Senior Prom and the Six Flags senior trip will be sold for $60 before or after school in Mrs. Niland’s room (162) starting today until May 2nd. Any tickets sold between May 3rd and May 9th will be increased to $70 per ticket so buy your ticket sooner rather than later! NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER MAY 9th. Please take care of financial obligations, permission slip for the trip and prom guest form prior to purchasing tickets.
Don’t forget the Junior Class Board Chick-Fil-A fundraiser is TONIGHT from 5-9 pm. When you place your order make sure you tell the cashier you are there for the Conard fundraiser and a portion of the proceeds will go to the class board!
